Easy Homemade E.T. Adult Halloween Costume

“My husband, JR, decided to dress-up like Elliott and help escort E.T. home for Halloween. We used our son’s bicycle handle bars and attached them to a black basket we had around the house. I printed off a picture of E.T.’s face and glued it to cardboard, to make it sturdy.

We stuffed some clothes inside a white sheet, for E.T.’s body, and fashioned it around the face printout. My husband wore a red pullover that he already had in the closet. Total investment: $0.00

Our inspiration was the lack of funds in our checking account. Haha! We wanted to do something cheap, original, and funny. The E.T. bike scene was perfect!”
