DIY I AM GROOT Costume

This year i wanted to be something big! and what was the biggest thing i could think of? GROOT! After getting the crazy idea of being Groot into my head i headed to the hardware store to pick up copious amounts pipe insulation and some foam floor tiles. Now Groot is made exclusively out of foam which makes him fairly light… but HOT! so hang out in cooool places 🙂

Shortly after my build had begun i convined some others into joining my madness and we turned them into other Guardins of the Galaxy. all of our costumes are 100% DIY and were alot of fun!

Now one thing i learned is everyone loves Groot! I’m pretty sure i was asked to pose in photos 100’s of times last night.. so it will be fun to slowly see them pop up!
